93294 billed while inpatient. Medicare denied. Can a Biotronik PM be remotely checked when pt is in the hospital?
 
Yes, a remote device check is billable when patient is an inpatient.

Check if any of these helps.
- Patient still under 90day global period - modifier 24
- Location: Was device check done within the same hospital? Then it becomes In-person device interrogation code (Between 99279 - 99281).

If admitted for a problem unrelated to your specialty, then you can try appealing with supporting MR.
