Hi all,

I understand that heart cath codes are bundled in with 93580, but I need to know how to bill for coronary and pulmonary angiography. Do I use the add-on codes 93563 + 93568? Or do I use 93455 + 75741-75746?

The guidelines don't specifically say you can use the add-on codes, but they also don't specifically say not to, and the CCI edits aren't clear either.

Thank you!

For the coronaries you would use 93454; 93455 includes grafts. And for the pulmonary angio you would use 93568; 93563 is a congenital code and should only be used with congenital heart cath codes 93530-93533.

HTH
