Hi,

we are having a discussion about the correct code for this. can someone help with the following dictation:

INDICATIONS: The is a patient of mine, who presents for ventricular fibrillation testing of biventricular ICD, in appropriate clinical context described by diagnosis above.

After a transesophageal echocardiogram demonstrated lack of intracardiac clots, we proceeded with moderate anesthesia care by the anesthesia service (Dr. x) and induced ventricular fibrillation through the device using 50 Hz ac, which induced ventricular fibrillation which was appropriately diagnosed and treated by the device with a single 25 joules shock.

This was considered sufficient and satisfactory and the patient recovered without complication or difficulty. He will follow up with me per previously scheduled appointments, and he will transmit through the X remote system.

Thanks in advance.
