Do I need to code 96101 X5 since it has per hour? how would I code this? please help...
 
Which visits are you asking "how would I code this"? All or just the testing part of the visits? Is the interpretation and report of these test documented on 6/16 only?

Ok, I'm goint to attempt this.
DOS 06/2-3/11
Intake as in 90801 would be coded for 06/03/11. It was started on 06/02/11 and completed on 06/03/11 and would be coded on the day of completion. Intakes are not time based, so it wouldn't matter for the time on this part. As far as the testing it has to be a minimum of 31 minutes to be able to bill for it. I would educate the provider to double check how long it took for the testing.

Written report for court 90889.


90806 with 22 modifier to make up the 60 minutes.

Need exact time spent speaking to the patient only. Not sure about speaking to the probation officer. I would think it is included in the patient as well as the written report.
