One of our providers says she can bill 96110 with 4 units if she scores and fills out 4 different forms for a pediatric pt for example the Connors test and the Vanderbilt and then 2 other different tests. Is this correct?

Thank you
Ann Lau

Good morning Ann. I was noticing that there are CPT Assistant articles on this code. Do you have the CPT Assistant resource?

I do not think the CPT assistants were very helpful in answering her question. 2 of them were just about changes. One did say it is for limited testing which CPT book says as well.

I think that yes she can bill it for each test she is doing. However, if she feels patient needs that much testing, maybe she should be doing more extensive testing and not doing all the 96110 tests? I am not a MD so I can't say, but after reading that, that would be my thoughts..
