Hello,

Can 96127 be done and billed for an adult? Can the PHQ-9 be the instrument used to assess this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! There is not much info on this code!

Yes, it can be done for an adult and typically our offices use the PHQ-2. It's billed but most (if not all) of the insurance companies will NOT pay on the charge. It ends up as a manual BUNDLED adjustment.
