Hello All,

Is is ok to bill conscious sedation along with the seperate J codes used for meds that are a part of the sedation. Additionally, is payment generally available for supplies (A4550)?

We are a physician practice, not an ASC.

Yes. We bill the sedation code with the medications and supplies used. However, some payors do not cover sedation. I would check ahead.
