Can we bill a 99211 nurse visit the same day we put on an event monitor 93270. The patient was in on 8/11 for a doctor visit in which case he had no idea what meds he was on or suppose to be on nor did his daughter, it was a huge mess since he had been in the hospital and no consult was called for my doctor (cardiology) to see him. He came back in the next day to have an event monitor put on and at that time the nurse went over and got all his meds straightened out and sent in scripts there is proper documentation for the nurse visit, but im just wondering if those codes can be billed together.
