when the provider tells the MA to call the patient to give them their lab results can we bill 99211 OR is there any other code that we can bill ?

We do not bill this code. This is a courtesy of your office to report to your patient their lab results. If the lab results were to need further explanation than you could offer that patient an appointment to come into the office to discuss their concerns and to discuss further understanding of the lab findings.

99211 is a face-to-face service - you cannot bill this for a phone call.
