Hi all, I'm looking for some help. We have a doctor that billed a follow up hospital visit, however in his progress notes he stated it's an observation visit. How would I code that? I appreciate any help!

I would clarify/confirm the patient's status first, and if they are observation, then level 2 observation is CPT 99225 POS 22.
