Wiki 99238 telehealth

I received a denial for using 99238 with the modifier 95 for telehealth. Blue Cross/Blue Shield is stating this modifier cannot be used with 99238. I am not finding any definitive information regarding this. Has anybody seen any information regarding the 95 modifier for 99238?

Per the AMA, the 95 modifier is required. My first line of action would be to make sure the place of service is one that is allowed with this. The following link has a chart on page 21 that lists the POS and modifier use. AMA Special Coding Telehealth
