I am getting denials from the insurance company for place of service 13 for 99349. Does anyone know what Place of service I would use for 99349 Home or residence visit I previously used 99336 with place of service 13 but of course with the new code changes it is not allowing. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

The place of service codes and guidelines for them did not change. You'll need to contact the payer to see if they have changed their policy to require different POS codes. However, based on the number of people who have complained about this I think it is an edit error on the payer's side that they need to fix.
