HELP! Has anyone had any input on billing these codes?
The coders here got into a huge arguing match this morning over trying to determine if the patient has a face-to-face encounter as the method of contact within the required 2-day time frame, do they need to see the patient again within the 7 to 14 day or does it count as the visit if they do the required work in the 2-day contact face-to-face visit?
