Hello! The home health agency I am working for is considering hospital at home care, performed by hi-tech nurses in the home, and billed by the agency, not the hospital (such as with the CMS waiver program). We are wondering what code would be best suited for the coding of the RN visits that would demonstrate advanced care. There is a 99600 code but it is an unlisted service code. Per CPT manual it can be used but on the Medicare fee schedule it shows as $0 rate and not valid for MC status. Perhaps other non-MC payor would allow for the billing of this code but I am trying to determine other options. I believe we could do S9123 or S9124 for nursing services with aTG modifier for high complexity. Does anyone have any other ideas? Thank you so much in advance!
Kim

hi kimjimbaker! I am looking for similar advice--did you determine what is best used to code for these services? We are having a lot of issues with S9123/S9124
