I woud like to know how to bill a appointment that is 60min long. Right now the therapists are using 90806 which is only for 45-50 min. I know modifer 22 is for extra time, but I know that some insurance companys do not reconize this.

Any sugestions please would be great

22 is not for extra time it is for unusual procedural service. A procedure that is is some way more extensive than what is usual and customary for the normal. 90806 is not a timed service the 45-50 is an approximate of the amount of time, your therapist may go longer but there is no way to charge additional for it.
