A team oriented Obstetric and Gynecologists office looking to hire a fulltime medical coder and biller with years of experience. Credentialed coder not required but desired. To be responsible for coding majority of daily, surgical, and hospital charges for a 2 provider practice. Needs to have hands on experience in coding and billing, be familiar with insurance denials, and the appeals process. Have common knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid policies. This person must have good computer skills, phone etiquette, be able to time manage and prioritize tasks. They will work closely with the Practice Manager and fellow coder to help maintain a good accounts receivable and production level for the practice. Experience or knowledge of Obstetrical and Gynecological Coding a plus, but not a requirement. Auditing experience appealing but not mandatory. We offer many benefits to include:
