If a physician orders an ultrasound for abdominal aortic aneurysm screening (no signs or symptoms), but the patient does not meet the criteria in the Medicare policy for this screening, is it still coded as 76706? Or 76775?

Yes, 76706. If AAA Screening is ordered, 76706 must be charged. This would be used for any payer/patient. Coverage depends on each payer's policy.
