Good Afternoon,
I am reviewing our ABN policy and assessing our current practices. Does anyone have a good resource to educate my team on the when and why an ABN should be used? I am looking for something more specific (beyond the explanation of "have the patient sign an ABN when a service isn't covered by Medicare"). Ex: Are there specific CPT codes (such as unlisted CPT codes) and Dx Codes that require or should have an ABN? Thank you!
