Hello,

As an Ortho practice of 7 doctors who bill for codes 99201-99215, can we join multiple ACO's or are we limited to one because we bill under one TIN #?

I appreciate any assistance with this.

PCPs can only join one ACO, but specialists can join as many as they want. However, an ACO may include certain clauses in their contract with specialists that can limit or prevent them from joining any others. If you're planning on joining multiple ACOs, you should probably bring in someone with extensive contracting experience to assist, such as an attorney.
