Hello everyone,

I am coding for AK currently and in the codebook there is an instructional note stating to use an additional code to identify the source of the ultraviolet radiation (W89) or other nonionizing radiation (W90). when I look up these codes, the W89 says exposure to man-made visible and ultraviolet light so this would be things such as tanning beds, correct? Code W90 says exposure to other nonionizing radiation, would this be used if it's caused by sun exposure? When I look up the "W" codes, there is an excludes 2 note for exposure to sunlight (X32). I am confused on which code would be best.
