Where would you find coding for acupuncture procedures? Is there a speciality for acupuncture? Do any insurance companies cover acupuncture?
 
Do you mean where would you find coding information? If yes, check out Acupuncture Today on line. I found the information very helpful. Our Neurologist is performing the acupunture.
 
Some health Insurance companies to cover them, as long as they are within the provider's scope. To answer the second part yes, there is a distinct specialty just for Acupuncturists. If you mean the procedure codes that would be 97810-97814, I hope this helps you... :S
