Can you code an acute infarct if found on an MRI in an outpatient setting? Ucare is stating it’s not appropriate in an outpatient setting, and we can’t get this one claim out the door.

In general we do review this code for history of or sequela if the patient has had a stroke, but if found on current imaging and its documented as acute, can this not be coded?
