Adding Medication to Dialyisis Bag

Can you charge an injection/infusion code for adding medication to a dialyis bag?
Thanks, in advance for any assistance.

The injection/infusion codes are bundled in the hemodialysis codes and would not be appropiate for peritoneal dialysis since the injection/infusion codes are for IV, IA and subq use.

Would that still hold true in an ED scenario where the patient is not receiving dialysis, but being treated for perotinitis with antibiotics being added to dialysis bag?
Thanks so much for responding.

PeaPod,

The infusion codes are for IV, not intraperitoneal. I wouldn't. I don't use the infusion codes for intraosseous access, either.
