Our provider sees a patient on one date of service, draws blood and orders lab work, then when the results are reviewed two days later and the provider decides to order additional lab work....
1- Do you bill/add the additional labs on the original date of service (collection date)?
or
2- Do you bill the additional labs on the date the provider ordered then?
