Can someone please clarify for me so that I have a better understanding. ICD-10 is a lot more specific. I am trying to figure out the best way to code cases like this.

Patient has adenocarcinoma of the left lower lobe.

I see adenocarcinoma of the left lung as C34.92. However it does not specify lower lobe. C34.32 is malignant neoplasm of left lower lobe. The C34.32 is more specific as to location and laterality.

Which would be the best way to code this and why?
