Adenoidectomy

I am needing some clarification on the right way to enter an Adenoidectomy with a BMT. My office was told to put the BMT-bilateral and then the Adenoidectomy.

the Adenoidectomy and then BMT-bilateral, depending on insurance add modifier 51 or 59 to BMT-bilateral

Modifier 51/59 would go on the BMT instead of the Adenoidectomy?
