Is ADHD always considered chronic or can it be acute?

ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), combined type Refill Amphetamine-Dextroamphet ER Capsule Extended Release 24 Hour, 15 MG, 1 capsule in the morning, Orally, Once a day, 30 days, 30 Capsule, Refills 0 . Notes: BMI and Vitals reviewed. On adderall XR10 mg patient was unable to focus in any activity, espeically as noted at camp Further demonstrated by Vanderbilt completed by Mother today Will return to Adderall XR 15mg adverse side effects endorsed Appetite good although will need to watfch weight. Mother given Vanderbilt for Teachjers to complete after patient has been ih schoool for 2 weeks.

ADHD is a chronic condition, but an increase in symptomology can occur. In this case, the ADHD is getting worse because the patient needs a higher dosage of Adderall. I would call this a chronic condition with moderate exacerbation.
