Are admin codes 90471 and 70472 to be used for all ages? My provider wants to use 90460 and 90461 for any one up to 18 with or without counseling. He wants to use 90471 and 90472 only for those over 18, again regardless of counseling.
 
CPT 90460 and 90461 are for patients through 18 years of age WITH face-to-face counseling during the vaccine admin.

I think I remember my coding instructor from 2012 stating 90471 and 90472 could be used on a patient of any age without the face-to-face counseling. I would check a coding editor program to be on the safe side though. I use the one Cigna has time-to-time. It's been great so far!
