My Kansas Medicare carrier has just recently changed and I'm trying to find the rule regarding the administration of a Part-D covered medication when given in the office. We commonly have patients bring their medication into the office after they have picked it up from the pharmacy for us to administer. There was a G0377 CPT code for the administration of a part-d medication, but it was a temporary code which expired 12.31.07. Somewhere I remember reading something about being able to bill the member for the administration of the part d medication and letting the member turn in bill to their part d plan. Anyone have any ideas??:)
