Administration of Decitabine (Dacogen) for MDS-238.75

Hello,

I'm posting on these forums to get feedback on using V58.12 vs. V58.11 for Decitabine administration.

This drug is used to treat myelodysplastic syndromes & acute myeloid leukemia.

The patient presenting to our facility has a diangosis of 238.75 (MDS).

It is suggested to use V58.11 per the company that makes Dacogen. The site for reference is: http://www.eisaireimbursement.com/Dacogen

I would suggest looking at the record further and/or query the physician for a more specific MDS diagnosis as the 238.75 is MDS, unspecified.
