patient was admitted on Jan 10 for planned surgery - thromboendarterectomy with patch graft. Discharged on Jan 11. I charge for surgery and discharge. Do I also charge for admit or is this included in surgery? I thought admits were included in surgery package. Thanks
 
If the patient came in to have the planned procedure I woudn't bill for an admit either. I'd say included in procedure...
