Wiki admit post surgery

I am a new coder and of course have many questions. The discussion forums have been a big help. I have a surgeon who did a hernia repair on a very obese patient. The surgery was scheduled as same day. The patient became bradycardic and hypotensive in the recovery room, so the surgeon admitted him to ICU. Is this going to fall under global, even if this is another issue/dx? Will appreciate any information.
