When the surgeon discharges the patient from the hospital and admits them to a SNF, is this billable?
 
No the hospital is the one that actually admits the patient to the snf. Your doctor only writes the orders and since it is post op you can't bill for it.

I recently bill for a GI who performed an ERCP(Inpatient) on a patient then was admitted to SNF. Is the SNF billable(99304-99306) or would it be a subsequent visit(99307-99310) for my provider?
