Does anyone have this issue?
A doctor who admits the patient to hospital, will also see the patient daily. During the hospital stay specialists are called in to see the patient as well. Example: cardiology - which is listed as a internal med the same as admitting.

the specialist will see the patient level 99232 or whatever the documentation warrants say for hypertension, chf. the admitting also will follow up daily for the same dx. they are not from the same group or entity, but the admitting is being told he cannot see the patient daily for these problems.

What should he do?

Any help would be appreciated.
