We recently had a provider start performing ADOS-2 testing for Autism Spectrum Disorder. For the actual assessment visit, we are using 96112 & 96113. We are struggling on what to use for the pre and post assessment visits. Before the ADOS testing, the provider is meeting with the patient's parents and using the ADI-R tool. The after-assessment visit is just to get together and talk about results and next steps. What CPTs should we be using for the before and after assessment visits? It's impossible to find something with clearcut instructions.

For the pre assessment, we've been suggested - 96116/96121 or 96130/96131
For post assessment, we've been suggested - 96132/96133 or just a regular E&M visit
 
I know this is an old question but what dx should we use when billing the ADOS? Our BCBA is not sure on what dx to use since the kid has not been officially diagnosed with autism.
