Does anyone have a "maintenance" diagnosis code to use for continuous treatment and prescribing of medications for adult patients with ADD?
 
do the doctor have to code it as maintence or just with the 314.00 dx or you can just used the v code automically because you know it maintence
 
If the documentation tells us this is a visit to adjust the medications or monitor the medications in any way (lab test or diagnostic study) then you may code the V code for the encounter for therapeutic drug management.
