I am taking a class in Advanced Medical Coding and Auditing. I was needing help doing the Audits. I was wondering if there was a place to go to on the internet that would help me better understand this class.:confused:
 
I use Steve Adams for all my coding needs. He an excellent speaker. his website is thecodingeducator.com under useful links click on 2016 CPC class files. You can also look around his site for other great information.

NAMAS website has weekly audit tips you can listen too

If your going to take a test when course work is completed be sure to write all your auditing information in your CPT book. You can write any notes in your coding books. That's what I did when I took CPMA course

MDTOOLS.com is an audit website where you can put your note information in and see what the outcome is. Works pretty well but is not free.
Medicare learning network also has a lot great information. This is free to sign up with free CEU's
Study all the law information. lots of questions on law and records in test.
