Good morning!

My AHIMA CSA is having our annual meeting next April and I am considering submitting an abstract to speak on a coding topic. I don't want to do just a review of the CPT/ICD-10/CMS rules for a specific specialty as I would rather keep it coding but avoid boring everyone with rules and guidelines they probably already know. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions on topics coding related that aren't just a review of codes and guidelines? I'm looking for inspiration. Thanks.
 
Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA) is often an interesting topic because you can use real world examples of OIG audits and DOJ prosecutions.

Why not medical coding vs medical abstraction..the differences? Also point out new dx codes in the ICD10 current manual? Or the differences and importance of HEDIS & HCC & DRG & RVG ?
