Has anyone experienced receiving EFTs that are short on the payment amount without any type of takeback on their single-patient payments? This has only happened on remittances with 1 patient on them. This just began happening to less than 2 months ago. I've called Aetna and the representatives I have spoken with have tried to send the claims back so that they'll be fully paid. However, no luck so far. I've sent in bulk information as well since I have about 15 of these shorted checks with no success on getting them corrected/fully paid. I've also tried filing the request on their website and got a letter stating they were upholding their original decision on the claim (not related to them shorting the check payment).

If you've experienced this, have you gotten any resolution and what did you end up having to do? Thank you in advance!
