January 2013 is the date that Medicaid reimbursements will increase to match MediCare rates for family care pratices (may not be the only type facility) for primary care services. I am looking for a definitive outline of what exactly "primary care services" refers to. One of the HMO's that I work with in this area (Southern California) is outlining eligible primary cares services as: 1. 99201 - 99499 (E&M with various places of service), 2. immunization/Admin for vaccines/toxoids. I have perused MediCal website, googled various terms etc. Do not see where these CPT codes or any other listing is stated. Does anyone have a reliable source that further explains this topic?
