I have a claim denying for N93.0 being reported for a 56 year old postmenopausal woman, stating the diagnosis is inconsistent with the patient's age. She has a chief complaint of postcoital bleeding. She had a TAH, so it can't be AUB. I have searched for any sort of age limitations for this code, and I cannot find any. Has anyone else come across this?

No there is no age limit. So this payer thinks women over a certain age are not having sex? Shame on them. Appeal in no uncertain terms!!!!
