Our office is trying to smooth out some bumps for intergraded services between our medical and BH departments. Where would I find info for the state of alaska?
Thanks, Jennifer
Similar to the other question you asked, why do you think that your state's guidelines would overrule HIPAA? HIPAA allows for sharing of information for treatment, payment, and healthcare operations. You're not even a separate company, you're two different departments in the same company. Someone is making much ado about nothing. Just share the info amongst yourselves, with whoever needs to know.
