When a pediatric patient comes in with an asthma flare or exacerbation we do breathing treatments and we bill with j7611 and j7644(albuterol-atrovent). Should i be billing with j7620 only as this includes both albuterol and atrovent??? I just noticed this code in my hcpcs book and didnt realize there was a code including both meds. How does anyone else bill this?? Is it ok to bill with both codes?? I would think if there is one code that includes both i should be using that one. Thanks for the input!!:d
