Hello all,
I have been billing allergy immunotherapy drops for about 5 years now, most payers will pay for them as long as I have attached the appropriate documentation. I received a denial recently asking for a modifier for more specific information as the code (95199) is unlisted. I am not sure of any modifier that can differentiate allergy serum (95165) from allergy drops (95199). Has anyone else had this happen and if not is there anyone that would be familiar with such modifier? Please advise!
