We have a new MD in our group who is a pediatric allergist. Can he bill for the mixing of allergens he gives to a patient, and the time spent with the patient, checking the patient every 1/2 hour or so and if no reaction is present he would inject additional mx.? If so, would you please provide the cpt code, and where can I find documentation to support the cpt code.
