Was hoping someone can help me with....our office just started giving allergy shots. We do allergy testing and then get our serum from an Antigen company. We pay the Antigen company for the serum. How do we bill for the serum since we are not making it? We are billing 95115 for each allergy injection. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kim,
You say that the serum is from an Antigen company, but is it getting mixed by anyone at your office? If so, you should be able to bill with 95165.

we are not mixing it at all. We send in exactly what we want made and it comes ready to go. I am hearing that there is no code for this unless you actually make the serum yourself in the office.
