Can a Neurologist bill with dx code for Mental Health (ex. R41.82, Altered Mental Status) even though its a Neurology consult? The claim is NOT for Mental Health it is Medical. But our claims are being processed as "Mental Health" claims. Should the Dr. use a different code or may be use this code as a secondary listed code instead?
