If partial 4th and 5th ray amputations done, but then during the procedure the doctor notices that the oseomyelitis is more extensive than previously thought, and ends up doing a transmetatarsal amputation, could the toe amputations be billed in addition to the transmetatarsal amputation?
Oddly, toe amputations do not bundle with the transmetatarsal amputation.

Any thoughts?
