I do billing for an anesthesiologist and I am trying to find out if he can bill for a non-OB surgery concurrent to being responsible for OB epidurals. I have not been able to find any guidelines online so I was wondering if it is just more of a hospital policy that they should not be doing surgeries at the same time as OB epidurals. If anyone know of anything in writing regarding this it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advanced!
