anesthesia units for 01992 and 01936

Hi Diane,

01992 is for a diagnostic or therapeutic nerve block(when performed by someone other than the anesthesiologist) and is 5 base units, plus time. this applies to the prone position

01936 is for percutantous image guided procedures on the spine or spinal cord for therapeutic purposes. this is 5 base units, plus time and applies to the prone position as well.

hope this helps,
Khill
